Black Eyed E

So, E had a bad spill on a neighbor's slide and looks like he was punched in the eye. I feel so bad for the poor little guy.

So, I HATE packing. That and getting my picture taken. Other than those 2 activities, I'm pretty cooperative. We are leaving for Boise today for 5 days, and I always forget at least 3 things. Bummer.

Also, I got at least 35 good shots of Riley the other day. This is nothing short of a miracle, and I'm proud of my work!

Also, for any of you who live close enough, please come pick peaches off our tree while we are gone. There is a ladder on the back porch. They are ripe, good, and will soon be eaten by the birds.

That's all, thank you for your time.

Again with the home improvement!

This is what we've been doing since Friday. (Thank you, Annzy and Ty for the help) This is the carpet that we are getting to replace all the yucky carpet in our house. It is coming on the 10th so we are trying to get things done so it can be dry in time.

Yesterday we went clothes shopping and I figured that it wouldn't be that crowded because while the back to school sales are still on, I thought most people actually starting school (tomorrow) would be done shopping. WRONG! The worst was TCP, which is small anyway, and trying to get my double stoller in there was no easy task. But we came away with a big pile of clothes for the boys for less than $50, so I guess that was worth it. Also, though I said I never would, and we all know I DON"T need any more hobbies, I joined one of those "Sunday paper coupon groups" or whatever they're known as. It's GrocerySmarts, and it's actually much easier than any I've seen and I think I might save a lot. Anyway, I'm off do take my brother's senior pictures. I hope they turn out, he's not exactly famous for being photogenic.

TEC-Free

So, E is done having blood draws! The one Thursday showed significant change and they are confident his levels will continue to climb to normal, all he has to have is a heel prick at his next well-baby visit in Oct. to make sure he hasn't relapsed. I am so glad. It's sad, because I guess he's finally resigned himself to it, on Thursday he didn't even whimper or cry at all when before we walk into the lab at the hospital and he starts screaming right off.

We have been crazy busy with fun things the last few weeks. Just a lot of swimming and visiting people and trying to get the most of the rest of the summer I guess. Here are some of them:

Playgroup at the "train park" in Farmington

Playing the "pillow game" in our Family Room

Some of our garden's harvest

The train at Lagoon, E's favorite ride

A Hawaiian Wedding

We went to my cousin's wedding on Saturday. It was a really beautiful wedding, and a fun luncheon reception afterwards at Thanksgiving Point. The boys had a ton of fun playing with cousins, eating cupcakes, dancing, and sticking money to the bride and groom. I got called up randomly to learn a dance and it was quite embarrassing, as I am a horrible dancer. It brought up many memories of being VERY nervous in high school whenever I had to perform. Of course, DH had to get a video of the whole thing, which M requests to watch quite often and which I will not be posting here! Anyway, it brought back a lot of sweet memories of DH and I getting married almost six years ago. The bride and groom were very young like us, and we talked about how we do not regret it at all and we love being young parents. Anyway, here are some silly pictures:

New Camera!

I had a great birthday on Sunday! Gage got me a new camera that I've really enjoyed so far. Today I tested out it's "weatherproofness" at our rainy day at the Airforce Museum (mainly outside)! It was fun.

We've had a lot going on the past week: I got in a car wreck, (I'm okay, thanks) we went camping, to Che's concert, out for my b-day, B-day dinner at Mom & Dad's, a Breastfeeding week celebration, Visiting Teaching, Cherry Hill, the AF Museum, and playgoup. A lot more, but those were the main things. We are all covered in Mosquito bites and a bit more tan. Here are some highlights:

DH tried his hand at baseball at the ward campout, here's him on 1st base

I had a great birthday with lots of help opening gifts and blowing candles! (if you want to read about the cake, check out colorblind boy's blog)

For World Breastfeeding week, we submitted tasteful photos of our nurslings, this is my cutie!
