A New House
Well, we are moved in and trying to settle into our new home. It feels really weird, and I keep wondering when we'll be going home. We are loving the new, bigger kitchen, the laundry room, and having a master bathroom with a shower. We are NOT used to hearing our neighbors' phone ring, their kids playing, etc.. We got very used to living on a corner next to a barn and not really hearing much of anything, so that will take some getting used to. We have a problem with our phone service, so still don't have a phone. It is also weird for the boys having no TV, but they'll get used to it eventually. Right now I'm "borrowing" a neighbors' internet (thanks Kevin!) but we hope to be able to get some kind of service eventually. We enjoyed walking to church yesterday, now that we are much closer. I think we have things at least somewhat in the room they go in, and are making lists of things we need for repairs and such.
Most of all, I am SO grateful to all the wonderful friends and family who moved stuff, watched the kids, cleaned, and helped us out when we needed it desperately. THANK YOU!!!
Here are some pictures of our messy, not yet put together house: (it's not letting me- AGAIN! I will try later)

Happy Birthday E!
I can't believe he's already 3, where has the time gone?
The birthday has gone on for a long time, starting last Saturday with a "Ball Party" at Grammy & Pops' complete with cousins, a cake featuring a baseball, basketball, and football, games, pizza, and lots of fun gifts. Grammy gave him a beautiful elephant quilt and a cool dinosaur, he got a book, shirt, truck, and giant water spraying ball from Aunty And.
Yesterday after the egg hunt we had a cake for him at Grandma & Grandpa's and he got a scooter from them, as well as weapons from uncle Che and a "magnetfying glass" from Aunt Whit.
This morning we had the traditional cake for breakfast and he got a book from M and a pirate ship from me and DH. It is a huge hit, and he's had fun with it all day. He has requested to go to McDonalds for dinner, so we'll do that.
Happy Birthday little guy.
Again, I want to post pics, but it won't let me.

Packing up and Easter
I wanted to post about Easter before I moved and forgot to do it. We had a fun time at our neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday. On Sunday, we had Easter dinner with Great Grandma and Grandpa at Grandma's house, followed by a hunt in her backyard. We also had a hunt last weekend at Grammy & Pops' house. These kids have enough candy for a whole village of children. The hunt in Boise, with the cousins lined up by age ready to go out.
The hunt in Farmington, much fewer kids, but more candy for them!
They put out their baskets before church and while we were at church, the Easter bunny came! M's favorite was a little k'nex car and E's was 2 more elephants to complete his Playmobil elephant family. We bunny knew they had too much candy and didn't bring much more.
We are in the thick of moving. We are having the Electrical all updated today and Wednesday we close. I have packed and packed and can not pack much more until the day of. We are moving on Thursday and Friday. We're hoping people will show up with trucks, since we don't have one. It is coming along well. I have been calling to move the utilities and am trying to remember everything we need to do to move. My parents have been (and continue to be) a big help, thanks guys!

Moving sometime next week!
So, yesterday morning the buyer and her realtor came over and I took them through and we settled everything. We are closing on the 15th!!! (Black Wednesday!!) Not the best day for DH (the Tax Accountant) to get off work to sign papers, but you do what you gotta do.
We are still unsure about when we can actually take possession of the new house, as the current owners don't feel like they can be out in time. (they've only had 3 months warning) We will probably move either next Thursday or next Friday. I would like to know so I can start doing utilities stuff and get word to the good 'ol EQ.
The wondering is finally over, and half or more of my house is already in boxes, yay! I know we will be wary until the ink is dry, but for now we're happy and moving on with the moving on. I can now once again get excited about the garage, kitchen window, etc.

Wish us luck!
Sorry this has become a home-selling blog, but that's pretty much what I do right now, so that's what you get.
Our final buyers (I'm calling them that so it will be a self-fulfilling prophesy) are inspecting the home tomorrow morning at 10:30. They did not hire an official inspector, and I am to take them around the house and show them what the previous inspectors found wrong and what we have fixed. I am really nervous I will say the wrong thing. They have already gotten a previous appraisal re-written, so this is the final step. If they find everything to be okay, we will close on the 15th and move the 16th and 17th. Since this is all so soon, I have been packing everything up already hoping it goes through. We have 5 days to get an electrician to update our electrical to get up to code as well, so that's another time crunch. Since we are excruciatingly dependable (someone once called me and DH that) I think we can swing it.
So cross your fingers!

Okay, this isn't funny anymore.....
We're now on to our fifth buyer and lets hope it is the last. I was so sure these last people were going to really go through with it, we bent over backwards for them and spent quite a bit of time and money fixing stuff they requested. I'm just tired of it all, it is really wearing me down.
Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers and hope with us that we really do close on the 16th.
