So it was two days of sugar, no sleep, fireworks, burnt fingers, yummy food, friends, bug spray, family, more fireworks, a parade,(complete with the much-anticipated horse poop) more friends, popcicles, swimming, sunscreen, ice cream, sand, mom's "pink blankets," red, white, and blue clothes, cousins, and fun.
Once again, the Hyrum parade was graced with the presence of our ever-growing McMurdie family, with plenty of LaBaus there this year. We had a great time and M even managed a 2 hour nap in the midst of a 80+ person BBQ. They got to be around a lot of friends and cousins, and they caught a lot of candy. What more is there, really?
Also, happy birthday to Aunt Noelle and Uncie Colin!

It was fun to get together near the fourth, and really, what's a holiday if you can't exchange popsicles with your friends?
