Garage?
So now that we have the carpet ripped out of our "family room" (aka master bedroom) we decided it was once a garage. Why? There are tire tracks on the floor, and also now that we look at it, it looks just like our garage. It's right behind the garage, so we think they just made it a room and then built a garage later in front of it. I think there must have been at least 5 additions onto our house. (which explains the roof!) But I'm glad, because if not, our house would be like 700 sq. ft. and really, that's just too small. Our house currently has NO carpet whatsoever, and is really echoey (not a word) when the kids play or stomp (their current favorite) The guy will be here in 20 minutes to put in new. Yay! We have had to put shoes on the boys 24-7 to keep them from stepping on the tack boards, although E has already gotten one stab. :(

I love the idea of bikes in the house! How fun for the boys.
maybe you should have left the family room the bike zone ~but it would have been too noise and cold and then where would you watch tv?
So is the living room Pergo too then?

It's hardwood, but in really bad condition, so we're just re-carpeting over it again.
