Thanksgiving Weekend

I have some pictures of Thanksgiving on my mom's camera, I'll try to remember to get them and post them here. We went to my Grandma's house along with various aunts, uncles, and cousins. We had a good time visiting and eating the traditional meal.

On Black Friday, we had a little tie dye party instead of shopping. It was fun. These photos are courtesy of M, so they're a little weird, but here is us applying the dye and some pictures of the finished products. A gown for baby C, and shirts for all the boys. I also did a blanket for my shop. We did some short sleeved shirts for the summer as well. Clearly, we needed to use more dye. There is still a lot of white, but they still look good and they have been wearing them nonstop since we finished them.

On Saturday, we went to Ikea to buy a crib (I know, we have never used cribs- but we hope to get this one to at least nap in one for safety's sake) We passed by Gardner Village and the boys wanted to stop and see the elves. They had a great time and I got to peruse a quilt shop while they did it!

This picture was on Sunday, they looked cute in their church clothes so we took a picture :)

And lastly , apparently I am not the only one pregnant around here!

Looks like Winter- feels like flip flops

They say it's pretty cold outside. I went to the dentist yesterday with no jacket and wearing flip flops and got some pretty weird looks :) Kind of nice to be impervious to it, but I'm sure I'm in for a rude awakening the minute this baby comes out and I get cold!

The kids have had fun with the start of the holidays. They are both now to the point where they remember holiday traditions from previous years and know what to look forward to. It's pretty fun, but has been busy trying to fit in all the prenatal appointments and holiday events. It is a lot when you have to go every week and it takes and hour to get there sometimes. We took the boys to a "sibling" class at the hospital we're delivering in and they learned (a lot more than I thought they would) about how babies come into the world. I think it helped them feel important to know it wasn't all about ME being pregnant, but that it was our whole family that is getting a baby.

E finally agreed to get his hair trimmed- and he wouldn't cooperate for any before/after mullet pictures but believe me, it was pretty shaggy before. He still has pretty long hair, just not way long in the back.

M had his first holiday choir concert on Monday for our city's park lighting ceremony. It was pretty cute. He has a few more concerts in the next few weeks and is pretty excited.

The boys got to play outside in the first snow of the season and I promised them I'd buy a sled sometime so we could go sledding.

Nesting?

Did I start an etsy shop to avoid nesting or to enhance it? Hmmmmm.....

Blah

I have a little cold, an asthmatic kid with the croup, and the weather is NOT awesome for my nerve pain.

I guess I don't have anything nice to say today, but it has been a while since I said anything on here.

I guess I can say that baby C is doing really well- I had my 34 week appt. yesterday and he looks great! I am measuring (only) 2 weeks ahead so that's about as small as I can expect at this point. He is in position and his hb sounds good.

(Hopefully) only 6 more weeks!
